Thank you for choosing to stay with us. It is important you thoroughly read & understand these terms and conditions.

Once a deposit has been placed you have accepted responsibility and have agreed to our Terms & Conditions of stay.

ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES: Check-in time is from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm on the day of arrival unless otherwise arranged with the owners. Keys will not be in the lock box before 2:00 pm on the day of check in. If you wish to check in early,  or check out late, please call Earlon 0434654332  in advance. Additional charges Departure time is strictly 10:00 am. Early or late 0departure can be arranged for an extra $50-$150 (if bookings allow). Please arrange this prior to arrival or at least 24 hours before departure.

CHECK IN: We practice contactless check in. This means you will need to pick up your keys from a keybox. Guests must provide their Driving license copy via text message to Earl on 0434654332 or email a copy to escape@theblacksparrow.com.au at least a day in advance or worst case the morning of your check in. We will then send you a code to pick up your key from a lock box located next to the reception near the car port. Key and check in  information will not be provided till your ID copy has been received. 

PETS: There is a $25/day charge for a pet but you need to call the Hotel Directly in advance to advise and arrange for payment.

Responsibilities of Guests bringing Pets to The Black Sparrow

• Pets must not be aggressive & pose a risk to other guests, pets etc. The owner will be responsible for any injuries or damages caused by their pets

• Must be clean

• Must not have fleas

• Must have be current with vaccinations

• Owners must bring along their own pet beds, crates, scratching posts etc. 

• Should not be allowed on beds or sofas 

• Owners must clean pet waste immediately and dispose of in designated receptacles. There are bins outside the chalets and for guests using the cottages, a bin is located near the laundry

• Must not be left unattended 

• Owners are liable for charges required to “Make Good” or “Replace Items” as a result of damages caused to the property by the pets

CLEANING: For the comfort of future guests and to avoid extra charges and/or an additional night, guests are: - Not to cook pungent (strong smelling) foods inside. These should be cooked on the outdoor BBQ.

- Not to stain any linen, towels, carpet, or furniture; and

- Not to clean fish, smoke, or burn incense indoors.

On departure, guests are required to leave the Cottage especially the kitchen facilities & BBQ clean & tidy. Please tie up uour garbage bags and deposit into the garbage or recycle bins at the entrance to the resort. Cottages not left clean, including BBQ, utensils, pots, and chinaware or garbage not cleared will incur an extra charge up to $200.

If you come in groups and move furniture, crockery/cutlery between cottages, please be sure to return them to their appropriate cottages before you leave. If not, you will be charged $up to $150. 

DAMAGES TO PROPERTY: We ask guests to respect the facilities we offer, and therefore take responsibility for any loss or damage to furniture, fixtures, fittings & outdoor property (wear and tear excluded). If you note something is broken on arrival please bring this to our attention as soon as possible so that we can acknowledge and address.
